  • Eucharistic Adoration

  • “Jesus waits for us in this Sacrament of Love”

Eucharistic Adoration is adoring or honoring the Eucharistic Presence of Christ in a deeper sense. It involves “the contemplation of the Mystery of Christ truly present before us.”
During Eucharistic Adoration, we “watch and wait”, we remain “silent” in God’s Presence and open ourselves to His Graces which flow from the Eucharist. By worshiping the Eucharistic Jesus, we become what God wants us to be! Like a magnet, The Lord draws us to Himself and gently transforms us.

Join us for Adoration every Thursday morning here at St. Margaret Church
    from 8:30am – 9:30am.

  • Inviting Interested Volunteers to be part of Martha’s Place Ministry

  • For years, St. Margaret’s Women’s Fellowship has reached out to women affected by homelessness and poverty, through our Martha’s Place Ministry.  Martha’s Place is a transitional emergency shelter in New Haven that helps women to achieve independence. We work quietly to bring nutritious family-style meals to these women at intervals through the year. We’ve set up “Moms and Tots Reading Corners,” stocked with children’s books, at Martha’s Place and its sister shelter, Life Haven. We raised funds to buy food for residents during the pandemic, and fresh staples for children of mothers entering the shelter without resources. If you’d like to join this gentle ministry, we would love to have you! Please call, text, or email Pat Walsh at 203 512-7900. speechlady100@yahoo.com

  • Collection and Shipment of Used Eyeglasses

  • The Madison Lions Club (MLC) continues to support the collection of used eyeglasses from the local community and the shipment of recycled eyeglasses to needy clinics in Ecuador and the Dominican Republic. So far, the MLC has sent more than 29,000 eyeglasses to these countries.

To help fulfill the need for recycled eyeglasses, the MLC has set up collection boxes in various locations in Madison. Prescription and non-prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses are gratefully accepted. A box is located inside the main entrance of St. Margaret Church for this collection.
