  • Every year, St. Margaret’s Sacred Heart Council of the Knights of Columbus awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors going on to college and to graduating eighth grade students
    going on to a Catholic high school. Please click on the links below for applications:

    LoStocco5@sbcglobal.net no later than
    Tuesday, May 31, 2022 in order to be considered
    for this year’s awards.

  • Knights of Columbus Sacred Heart Council:

  • Welcome to Council #5780, we are 150 members strong, are located in Madison CT and affiliated with St Margaret Church.

    The Knights of Columbus provide Catholic men and their families a means to form friendships forged in service. We dedicate our time to serving those in need of support, whether a person to talk to, financial support or a helping hand. We have a variety of programs, some of which are listed below. This programming changes as interests of our membership shift, but it always come back to helping people in need and rewarding role model behavior.

    Above all we are there to support our Church and Community, Members and their Families.

  • Examples of the work we do:

    • raising money to support Vista and Sarah
    • working with Habitat for Humanity
    • raising money for scholarships for students entering Catholic high schools and colleges
    • supporting the Madison Food Pantry
    • Operation American Soldier.
    • host the weekly parish Coffee And…reception after the 9:30am Mass on the last weekend of each month*
  • Meetings

  • Our council meets the 3rd Tues of the month at 7pm in the church hall during the following months: Sept, Oct, Nov, Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, May. We typically hold social events in the summer, such as dinner at the surf club which is bring your own picnic dinner.
