St. Margaret Women’s Fellowship is offering two $750 scholarships to parishioners:

• one for a graduating high school senior who plans to attend a college, university or trade school in September

• one for a currently enrolled college student.

Applicants are asked to complete an essay on the specific topic written on the applications. Essays will be blindly judged for content and grammar, so please follow directions carefully.

St. Margaret’s Women’s Fellowship has evolved to be an organization that encourages our parish women to know and appreciate one another and our shared faith through informative programs, days of reflection, wonderful opportunities for charitable outreach and events that encourage parish interaction. We reward our young people’s hard work with scholarships and enjoy laughing with one another over some very good food…historically, we do know how to cook and present! I do so hope you will join St. Margaret’s Women’s Fellowship (SMWF) for the small sum of $20.00. We meet, usually, on the second Wednesday of the month beginning on November 10, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. in the church hall. Your membership entitles you to a discounted price for the Spring Champagne Cocktail Fundraising Event, plentiful refreshments at all of our meetings and wonderful entertaining programs throughout the year. Dues also help us to address the needs of our parish and surrounding communities. What we most want to see are your lovely faces, but be sure to fill out the entire membership form sharing your likes and talents.

The purpose of the Fellowship is to promote the spiritual welfare of women through religious, service, educational and social activities. We welcome and need your participation and suggestions to be successful in meeting the needs of our members and the community!

Membership fee is $20 for a one year membership (October-June).
Your dues help support programming, charitable donations and our scholarship fund. They also entitle you to a discounted ticket at several events.

Board meetings are held the 1st Monday of the month in the Church Hall at 6:30 pm (Sept-June) and are open to the general membership.
General meetings are the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7:00 pm* in the church hall.

Our 1st meeting will be on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 7:00pm in the church hall with our installation of officers, appetizers & entertainment.

In the spirit of Pope Francis’s plea to serve, we ask each member to volunteer at least 4 hours of time during the year in any capacity you are able(making calls, baking,
planning an event etc), so we can continue to offer our various programs to our members and community. An active membership makes us all stronger.

The Women’s Fellowship is open to all women of St. Margaret Parish as well as area parishes.
