Flocknote is a communication tool designed specifically for parishes allowing us to reach all of you “our flock” in a fun, informative and interactive way. This new tool will soon replace Constant Contact for all our parish emails. In addition to email, Flocknote has an added feature of allowing parishioners to sign-up if you want to receive parish updates and information via text messages on your cell phone.

Communication is a vital part of ensuring that everyone within our parish community is able to feel connected, included and informed. With this in mind, we have created the following procedure allowing for the efficient receipt and distribution of all information that is requested to be shared with our parish community.

The following means of communication are utilized by our parish to help keep parishioners informed of important announcements, events and activities within our parish community:

Printed Weekly Bulletin: distributed at week-end Masses. Also available to view on the parish web-site.
Pulpit Announcements: made before the start of week-end Masses.
Parish Web-site:: stmargaretchurch.com
Parish Master Calendar:accessed via the parish web-site or by clicking here
E-Mail Announcements and Updates: emailed out to parishioners as needed using Flocknote.

**All Paper Flyers that have been submitted and approved according to this new procedure will be posted by parish staff, as space allows.

1. Click on the attached link to complete the Parish Communication Request Form

2. All requests need to be received by noon on Monday in order to be considered for distribution for the following week-end.

3. Once all requests are approved by the pastor, they will be distributed to the parish community as space allows and in the following order of priority:

*Information from the Archbishop or Archdiocese
*Information from our pastor
*Parish events, activities and announcements
*Diocesan events, activities and announcements
*Non-Diocesan parish events, activities and announcements
*Non-religious but local community events and activities.
